Does Netgear nighthawk 6 work in Caribbean?
Hi, I just bought the Netgear nighthawk six from AT&T. I am currently in the US I will be moving to the Caribbean next year, specifically, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Suriname. I am curious if this device will work with local Sim cards there. Thank you!

Unless the Caribbean has AT&T, you're out of luck unless you can get AT&T to unlock the device. Even then, it may not work depending on the frequency bands used by the Caribbean service provider. Assuming that you have an MR6500 or MR6510 since you purchased it through AT&T..
You can use that device in Puerto Rico. AT&T sold its wireless operation to Liberty in PR but basically you can still use the same devices in their network. Liberty still use the same bands as AT&T.
