Double Nat on Nighthawk M1 MR1100 need to forward ports for camera
Hello, I am tring to forward ports on a Camera system but am finding two IP addresses and neither one will give me access when I forward the ports, the nighthawk is through ATT and is my only option for internet.
Thanks for any and all help, as a side note I have minor experiance doing this.

Hi tromans4
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Where did you get the IP address?
Is this the first time that you connect the camera to the MR1100? Was this working before to an old router?
Did you set static IP address to the camera?
Here's the reference link of how to enable port forwarding:

Thank you for the response,
I am getting the two different IP addresses from 1. going to google and typing in whats my IP 2. logging in to the M1100 going to settings and looking at the network tab IPV4,
I have forwared the ports needed to see the cameras but still cain't see them, I am only using the M1100 no other routers are attached and this is a new setup.

Hi tromans4,
The first IP address is the Internet IP address. The second IP address might be the Local IP address? May I please have the camera system model number? Are you trying to locally access the camera? How do you access it? Is it using an app or via the IP address?

Blanca

Hi Blanca
They both are external IP addresses one starts with 10.157. and the other starts with 107.77. , the internal is 192.168.1.1, you can run a ping on both and get responses from them. The camera system is a speco, it uses its own software to access the cameras and I have the correct ports forwarded to both IP addresses. I can access the cameras through the local network, but when I try to access through the web it is a no go. I have 2 more systems at different locations that work fine but none of them are on the same type router-hot spot
Thanks
