Failed eSIM Installation on NETGEAR MH7150 May Break WiFi Functionality
I tried installing a third-party eSIM (free mobile esim) that requires verification code .
However, I quickly realized:
The device has no interface to input verification codes
There’s no way to complete the activation flow
The installation process gets stuck halfway
At first, I assumed it was just a compatibility issue — but it turned out to be much worse.
Key Issue: Incomplete eSIM May Remain in the System
If the installation process is interrupted or cannot be completed:
The device may retain a partial / corrupted eSIM profile
This creates a strange state where:
The eSIM appears to exist
But it is unusable
And sometimes cannot be removed properly.
After this failed installation, I experienced:
WiFi signal completely disappeared (SSID not visible)
