Firmware 12.06.07 MR1100 EUS: IP Passthrough Problem
With the latest automatic firmware update my Orbi system loses the connection to the Netgear M1. It follows a pattern:
- connection for 30 sec
- connection lost for 5 min (obi blinks in purple )
- connection again for 30 sec
Factory resets on both systems didn't help.
Firmware downgrade does not work (error code 16).
If you depend on such a setup you should avoid the firmware 12.06.07.
Does anyone have a solution?

- Firmware 12.06.08 solves the problem. IP Passthrough with Orbi on Router mode works again.

Hello,
I just received update 12.06.07.00 for my unlocked MR1100EUS and IP Passthrough works fine for me.
My carrier is SFR in France and they use CGNAT.

- Do you use it with a Orbi system?
- I changed the Orbi to AP mode. M1 works as Router without IP Passthrough. At least, it works in this configuration again. Except all workload is done by M1 and not by Orbi. Functions like VPN doesn't work anymore .
