Firmware for Nighthawk M1 Failure to update (NTG9X50C- 12.02.06.01)

 

Hello Community,

     I got a branded ATT Night hawk M1 portable router, I unlocked with the unlock codes.

Right now it is working fine. 

But, the firmware update never works.

Since I am on an older firmware, I don’t have the option of manually downloading the firmware and updating via the web interface. 

  1. What other options are there to update the firmware?
  2. Is there any executable firmware that could be run and would update the device plugged in via usb.
  3. Since I have unlocked the device, cant I change the ATT logo to something else?
  4. Data Usage: I can’t edit my data usage or set limits etc.

    Hi Feeldennis, 

     

    Just to verify, are you using an AT&T Sim when running the update? 

    Though the device is unlocked, you cannot change the AT&T logo.
