forgot Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 Genie password.

Hi. this is my first time asking a question. We have the Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 routermodem. we use the Android mobile app named Netgear Genie. I changed admin password when we got it. one day I went to change password and closed system in the middle of it. Genie app wont let me log in now. I cant find where to reset Genie password so we can log into eouter. Also, using 192.168.1.1 wont let me log in neither. we just need to log into router and change password again so we can change routers settings. Please help without hard reset router.

    The only way to recover from forgotten passwords is usually to get the device back to its factory settings and set the thing up from scratch.

    Check the section in the manual Factory Reset Using the Reset Button.

    You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
