How do I lock my Netgear Nighthawk hotspot to only use 5G?
It keeps flipping back to 4G even though there is a strong, fast 5G signal available. I have to reboot the hotspot for it to go back to the much faster 5G signal. Give it a few minutes or a few hours...
Fascinating. Netgear appears to have neglected to provide that option. See page 46 of the user manual.

Is it correct to assume that this MR6500 is connected to wall power and the Power Mode is set to "Plugged In"?
This is the only option. The hotspot is plugged in and using that power mode yes.
