Even with your MR6550 firmware up to date, the app itself often lags behind major OS updates like iOS 23, or it may fail to recognize specific carrier-provisioned versions of the hardware. Since your touch screen is finicky, the best workaround is to save a shortcut to the WebUI (192.168.1.1) on your iPhone's home screen; it offers the same control as the app without the "unsupported device" handshake errors.
