  • The RBR850 router models RBR850 and RBR840 provide a WAN/Internet port 2.5 Multi-Gigabit Ethernet port for
    connection to a high-speed modem. This port also supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and Fast Ethernet (100BASE-T) connections.

    Nothing that stops you from deploying a M6 Pro, permitting the device and the router are configured appropriately;

    M6 Pro admin .

    Settings IP Passthrough: ON

    DHCP: Disabled Ethernet Standby: Disabled

    Plug the Ethernet port to the router e.g. RBR850 WAN/Internet port, and restart the router. Configure the router Internet connection for "Get Dynamically from ISP. Your ISP uses DHCP to assign your IP address. Your ISP automatically assigns these addresses."

    Have fun!

      Once my network service provider is back up and running, can I use the MR6450 as a redundant back up network.

        Afraid no. The Orbi router are single WAN devices only.
