Lb1120 can't connect with Verizon properly

Hi, just purchased a netgear lb1120 and put a Verizon sim card in. All lights are green and I get 2-3 bars. I can load Google and make searches but am unable to open up any websites. Nothing other then Google searches. Please help as I am not in a remote area that has internet.

Sounds like a problem with the local network setup.

What do you have connected to the Lb1120?

What are you using to connect to the outside world to make those Google searches?

If you are running the two in tandem, then you have two things trying to be the network's router. That way madness lies.

Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local address problems. Among other things, the other router can misdirect addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.

This explains some of the other drawbacks.

It may be possible to put the lb1120 modem/router into modem only (bridge) mode and then to use the second device as the router. Sometimes it is easier to put the second router, the ltwr841n, into AP mode. But that has its own drawbacks.
