To clarify, is it solid amber or blinking amber?
Solid amber bar : The modem is not connected to the Internet.
Blinking amber bar : A SIM card is not installed or not correctly installed or an error occurred.
What happen prior the issue?

Hi Blanca_O
It is Solid Amber.
I am not aware of anything happening to the device to have caused this problem.
Thanks

Thank you for responding.
Can you still ping the IP address (192.168.225.1 or 192.168.5.1)?
Who is your Internet Provider?
Where did you purchase this unit?

Blanca

Hi again Blanca_O
I can ping 192.168.225.1, but Not 192.168.5.1.
ISP is AT&T.
I think it was from Amazon.
Thanks

These models seem to have hardware failures a lot. Try a hard reset (reset button with paperclip) a few times while supplying / removing power.
But if that won't clear it, than it's DOA. Buy a new one, or replace with something better.

Any updates on this? I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my unit.
