LB2120 Firmware update release information
Are release notes posted for LB2120 anywhere? I have about 700 text messages from my router stating firmware update is available, but I can't find information on what it does/fixes.

Hi Avocadodude,
The firmware provided for your modem is through your internet provider which you would need to contact.

Thank you for the reply. I don’t believe that is correct though. The firmware update came from Netgear, there just weren’t any change notes with it.- JasonNNETGEAR Employee Retired
Hi Avocadodude,
Thank you for your response again. So I can investigate into this further, can you please provide a bit more information on this as to what you mean by "the firmware update came from NETGEAR" Maybe provide the exact message of your text?
NETGEAR does provide firmware for many of our products and can be found on the specific product page. If you look at the LB2120 product page, it does not have any information regarding firmware. This supports the information that the firmware is managed by the ISP. Hope to hear from you soon :]
Below I provided the links to the product pages to compare:

Hey JasonN, since you're a moderator and it seems you field tech support requests here on the official NETGEAR forums:
Please understand on our end that many us have to deal with a cellular/internet service providers general tech support that aren't trained or informed on the nuances of each product... before we can even make headway into elevated tech support or engineering. As such, if you wouldn't mind confirming (and quoting) the following, so we all have a reference point when dealing with said tech support:
It is NETGEAR's official company policy that firmware, firmware information, changelogs, version notes and the publication thereof are the responsibility of the Internet/Cellular Service Provider for the Nighthawk LTE Hotspot/Router, also known as MR1100, MR1100ATT, and MR1100EE, along with any other provider branded variants.
is that correct? Maybe have this in an article on the product FAQ page would be great also. This helps us deal with our individual tech support so we have an official statement that it's their responsibility.
Thanks!
(For the record, I'm still evaluating my AT&T one, and the older firmware currently on it -may- be more stable for me than the newer firmware, or I just had a bad unit. Either way I'm still diagnosing that)
