only seen an amber light on mine once but the towers went down that day been using about 3 months.

In my case the issue happens nearly everyday.
In fact I use the LB2120 to send only a very short email once per a day at midnight.
May be I need to send periodicaly a keep alive message once per hour to check if the issue disaapears or occurs at a certain hour.
