LB2120 on Verizon
Got the LB2120 4G LTE modem. I read past forum threads regarding other folks having trouble activating their modem on the Verizon network since Verizon’s database does not have information on the LB2120 IMEI. I thought this would’ve been resolved by now (given those old forums were a year or more ago). But apparently Verizon’s database is still having the same problem.
Can I activate a SIM card on an iPad and then transfer the SIM card to the LB2120 (I would need a nano to micro card adapter, of course)?
If so, am I better off using the SIM card that came with my iPad or getting a new SIM card from Verizon?
If I activate the SIM card on my iPad, and use the SIM in the LB2120, then I won’t, in the future, be able to use and activate another SIM card on the iPad for it’s own use?? or I can, but it would have to be for another carrier (if so, then maybe best to keep the original Apple carrier-independent SIM card that shipped with the iPhone on the iPhone and use a Verizon SIM for the LB2120).
Also, can I expect to be able to send SMS from the LB2120?
thanks.
