LB2120 sends 18 sms messages a day about upgrade

Did you try to switch off the tick box of the updates in alert?
Might be buggy since the tick box a) switch to 4G and b) switch back to wireline both produce the same sms message i.e that it swich back to wireline. Also some times it doesn't allow you to save the changes. Reboot is the only way than I found out .
I do not have remote access to the admin GUI, or to even find what IP address the modem is running on.
At this time, the wireline service has not yet been installed.
I am up to about 25 messages a day.
This is going to cost me much money.
Again, this LB2120 is installed at a very remote location in the mountains of West Virginia.
I am in Florida...
Is anyone from NetGear even going to respond?
No responses from Netgear.
I was charged hundreds of dollars in text messages.
I had AT&T shut down the account.I will NEVER buy another Netgear product.
