LM 1300 4G LTE Modem
Recently purchased an LM 1300 4G LTE Modem through COSTCO. Inserted a VISIBLE (a VERIZON MVNO). Good signal strength as I am 2.5 miles line unobstructed line oif sight to the tower. The modem shows the connection, hold it breifly then it drops and won't reconnect. Resets have not changed the situation. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

LM1300 is shipped with a Tracfone SIM. It is expected you use the SIM and activate a new account.
LM1300 doesn't work with Visible out of box since it requires special steps to activate the SIM card. If your Visible SIM had been activated in other device, please log in to WebUI to update the APN to Visible APN. I think the devie will pick Verizon as default APN.
Thanks

I was able to use both Tmobile and US Cellular SIM with auto setting.

Yes. You are right. I didn't express myself clearly.
LM1300 should work with most of LTE networks in US. But we know there is limitation for Visible, the MVNO of Verison. Since Verizon and Visible both require customised process to go through SIM card activation, LM1300 is currently only support Verizon activation process since the devices can't detect a SIM is Verizon or Visible SIM.

The SIM is not the problem. Signal strenth is not the problem. I configured the modem APN to VSBLINTERNET and it does connect to my carrier, briefly, then the connection drops. I think its just a defective modem.
