LM1200 - Manual DNS servers not working
I have a custom DNS server hosted in the cloud that I want to use for blacklisting domains. It's a public IP address and I know the DNS server works properly since I've used nslookup to test it on a different machine.
I want to use that DNS server on the LM1200 instead of the ISP-provided DNS. That way, if someone connects their device to this modem, DHCP will hand out the custom DNS server and blacklist domains.
The issue is that it’s not working. I set “DNS mode” to “Manual” and then specify our DNS server. After a power-cycle, the DNS server is the same. Also, doing an nslookup doesn’t blacklist the domain. This is done on a laptop that’s disconnected from internet besides the cell modem.
Thoughts on what’s going on here? Seems like a bug.
I've got the latest software. Haven't done a factory reset yet.

I think first please make sure the DNS IP can be access via the data connection through LM1200.
If this is not working, you can try to set up blacklist on LM1200 directly as a workaround.
Thanks
