LM1200 doesn't see/detect SIM card

I have a new LM1200.

I have a known good Verizon SIM card (it works if I plug it into a phone).

When I put it into the LM1200, it says "SIM NOT DETECTED".

I've tried putting the card in different ways but it just doesn't detect the SIM.

It's a pretty straight forward device so I'm assuming it's just defective, but is there anything else I can try?

    There is only one way you can insert the SIM in the slot. You will feel the click when it is inserted properly.

     

    I suggest you to request a replacement if it is confirmed the device really can't detect the SIM card properly.
