LM1200 Firmware fails updating/check firmware

I've attempted to check and update my firmware on my a new LM1200 and failed multiple times over the last several days.  I've been on the phone with tech support who hasn't been able to give me any helpful suggestions other than rebooting or waiting a few hours and try it again.

There was a problem updating your device. Please try again later.

Firmware Version: EC25AFFDR07A09M4G
App Version: NTG9X07C_20.04.07.06
Web App Version: LM1200-HDATA_03.03.103.189
Hardware Version:1.0

 

Where can i find a link to do a manual upgrade via the web gui?

      Hi, I am also looking for the latest firmware. Netgear Phone Support says there is no way they can manually send it to me and suggested I post here since you seemed to have the firmware available to send. I would greatly appreciate it!

  • I am having the exact same issue with the exact same firmware and app versions as the main post. Can someone please send me information or files to upgrade the firmware? Thanks! JohnPeng​

      I am trying to get help form netgear support - but the ticket (case 49074081) has gone nowhere.  JohnPeng​ - is it possible for you to send the firmware that fixes the upgrade issue? Thank you

  • I am having the same issue if someone can post where to download the correct firmware. 

  • Joined this thread to see the outcome. I own two of these and cannot update the firmware on either one of them via the "check for update" button or manually via the download from the support site.

  • Netgear tech support told me that this was because my model was LM1200-111NAS, while the firmware on the website was for LM1200-100.

     

    Netgear has recently released firmware for the LM1200-111NAS model and is available for download here:  https://www.netgear.com/support/product/lm1200/#download

     

    I was able to download and install that firmware.  🎉
