LM1200 IMEI on CricketWireless says its not compatible. (Its ATT)

Question

Model = LM1200&nbsp;&nbsp; Not available in the Model Picklist when creating this thread.&nbsp;&nbsp;I just purchase one of these to use with Cricketwireless on their 100GB for $50 plan.&nbsp;&nbsp; They says its not compatable due to the 3G modem.&nbsp;&nbsp; Why would a new product have a 3g modem in 2021.&nbsp; Most vendors have shut off or will shut off 3g within the next 60 days. &nbsp; Do you have a hotspot without a 3G modem that can be used on Cricketwireless?&nbsp; -Bill

It has to be a cricket approved device. You'd have to check with cricket to see what they support.&nbsp;

They have no such list.&nbsp; Only their #2 hotspot which is an even slower device than the LM1200.&nbsp; And their hotspots specs says its also 3g.&nbsp; It makes me wonder why they car what hotspot is used.&nbsp; The plan I am looking at is 100GB per month, then its useless till the new month.&nbsp; I looked at visible, no coverage in Mexico and Canada.&nbsp; Which Cricket does a really decent job in those countries.&nbsp; -Bill&nbsp;&nbsp;

I wish it was something netgear controlled but its all cricket controlled as to what devices they approve

Netgear does control what modem is in it.&nbsp; Modems with 3G shouldn't be in hotspots for the US anymore, and this is a fairly new model (2021).&nbsp; -Bill
