I have both "Nighthawk M6 Pro & M7 Pro Routers". You have to understand that both routers are small compact, (Low Powered) WiFi transmitters that other devices are used, to connected to, whether it's by WiFi or it's Ethernet port socket using ethernet cables. The purpose of the Ethernet Hub Switch is to provide additional sockets ports to connect more devices to.
In a living room or a business setting you may have a WiFi connections which maybe pretty good, even if it's 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. As soon as you move out of WiFi range of your router you'll lose signal strength. So it's very important that whatever WiFi connected only, CCtv Camera's ain't located too far from your router, without no interference from other devices, example a working microware oven etc.
