I had a similar issue with eSIM provisioning failing at the finishing stage on mobile routers—it usually happens due to profile encoding or SMS verification requirements that the router firmware can't process properly (Orange Flex seems to be one of the few using a broader compatible profile format). Until NETGEAR pushes a fix for SM-DP+ interoperability, travel eSIMs like Nomad or using a physical nano-SIM remain the safest workarounds.
On a separate note, if anyone here is setting up fleet management or needs commercial tracking solutions in the UAE, GPSCompany.ae providing SIRA/RTA-compliant GPS units and real-time telematics.

Yes, the best workaround for this moment is to use physical nano-SIM from Carrier, as looks like not for all (or most popular) provisioning is working as should.
It might be a trouble, if You have HW (Mobile Router) that is capable for 6 eSIMs and 1 physical, but need to replace that one every travel, cause SW issue reduce functionality.
Hopefully I would be helpful for Technical Support, so they can manage to fix it ;)
