Mobile Hotpsot - Nighthawk Can It Connect To A Router To Extend The Wifi Signal?

I want to use a mobile hotpsot to be able to use a security camera in a remote location. I do have cell reception with Verizon and AT&T (Verizon seems stronger) I also want to be able to use the hotspot occassionally for business. The range of the hotspot only seems to be a few feet, so the camera needs to be right next to the device, which is not feasible. I have tried to use other hotspots and routers, but could not get them to work. Can this device be used with a wireless router to extend the range and allow for other devices to easily use the wifi?
