Mobile Router NETGEAR Nighthawk M1
Hello, my name is James W Bush, and I am from Pakistan.
I recently buy the Mobile router netgear nighawk M1 from the pub tv site.
I'm at college, and the internet in my dorm is practically non-existent. I'm thinking of purchasing the Nighthawk M1 router.
However, all the videos I've seen on YouTube have been shot in the United States on T-Mobile and AT&T networks. Those networks just do not exist in Ireland. So let me ask you a few questions.
1. Do I need anything else besides a sim card with data to use the Nighthawk? (an additional router, ethernet cables, or a wall broadband plug)
2. Has it been tested on other networks or outside the United States? If this is the case, please let me know how it went.
3. Is the speed solely determined by the network provider, or does the router only cover certain areas?
Sorry if this sounds foolish to some people or if it has already been asked, but any assistance would be very appreciated.

1. i can only speak for me but as i understand as long as you have a sim you can put it into the m1 - you only need the sim
2. im from germany using it with an o2 sim, i think i could put any sim in there, should not matter
3. dont really understand the question here

1. Major work just need a sim card with data service subscribed, get few more battery if you are using it on the road most of the time, or get a better QC3.0 charger if you are using it at fixed location where you might want to remove the battery (to reduce heat problem) and plug Type-C charge cable instead
2. If you are buying US model of M1, then it might not work properly outside of the country, you need to check what is LTE bands supported at your destination country and then check M1's specs if it has coressponding band(s) supported
3. Signal coverage mainly dominated by network provider's tower, and of course concurrent users from the same tower, as long as M1 has proper band(s) supported.
Hope this helps
