MR1100-100 M1 Do not boot anymore

Hi all,
My M1 is no longer under warranty and does not boot anymore (with or without battery, with or without SIM).

It seems to be a hardware issue. If I press firmly on the screen with constant pressure, it boots but switches off when I release the physical pressure.

My questions are:
- Has anyone in the community faced and sorted out the issue (dry solder, maybe)?
- Does Netgear provide a replacement discount if I buy a new one?
- Can I buy a support contract so Netgear can fix or replace it?
- Or is the only option to put it in the trash and buy a new one?

PS: I'm based in France and bought my M1 on Amazon in 2019.

  • #4 would be the only valid option. Get an M6 or M7 generation if you can afford it. Maybe get one used off of eBay or Amazon. Just make sure you do your homework to make sure the model you buy has bands for your carrier.
