MR1100-1TLAUS not broadcasting wifi after firmware update to NTG9X50C_12.06.08.00

Hi,

 

My MR1100 was working fine until the firmware was updated to NTG9X50C_12.06.08.00.

 

I have done the following to troubleshoot:

1. Factory Rest

2. Checked that the 2.4g and 5g Broadcast WiFi Name SSID are both checked

3. Restarted the device

4. Tried to manually update the firmware to an older version (10.25.01.01, and 12.06.02.00), but I keep getting the error messsage "Invalid update file. Error code 16"

5. Removed and replaced the sim + battery

 

Is there anyway to roll back to the previous firmware or FTP the firmware file to the device for installation on boot up? Any other ideas?

    Hi jasonkho

     

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

     

    Kindly access MR1100 settings page, go to Settings > Setup > Mobile Router Setup. Make sure the IP Passthrough is off and "Turn off WiFi when tethering" is unchecked. 

     

    Please try changing the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi name (SSID) then check if devices can detect the network.
