MR1100 battery disconnecting issue

So I just got a used Nighthawk M1 and when the battery is in and the device is on, any small bump or impact will cause it to instantly turn off. The only way to turn it back on after this is to take the battery out and plug it in. What I’ve noticed is that it’s always some sort of movement or bump that makes it turn off like clicking the battery cover into place or setting the device down, which doesn’t make it a very ‘mobile’ mobile router. Is this a known issue or does my device have some internal issues? Or is the battery bad?

The possible reason for this is that the battery contact PINs deformed. To correct this, you can pull the PINs up carefully or you can insert something to make the battery fit in the compartmemt tightly.
