MR1100 blinking amber with no internet

I just exceeded my 3 month support window, which is shocking that they won’t help beyond that point. In any case, I use this device for camping and in my car on occasion. A few days ago I noticed it blinking amber with no WiFi available. No big deal, I pushed the button a few times and it went back to blinking blue with WiFi available. This now happens several times a day. I did a reset and pulled the battery and SIM with no change in performance. I am using the original charger. I do not leave it plugged in 24/7, which I understand is better for the battery. Any thoughts? Thanks.
