MR1100 (Nighthawk M1) Manual Firmware Update - Telstra
Hi,
I have a Telstra Nighthawk M1 (SKU: MR1100-1TLAUS) that is stuck on firmware 10.25.01.01 and the OTA update is not working.
Does anyone have a link to the 12.06.08.00 (or newer) Telstra Firmware so I can do a manual update of the unit?
This KB only contains a link to the 10.25.01.01 Firmware

And the generic 12.06.11.00 firmware here will not load onto the Telstra unit.

Update to my last comment. Previously, after checking and detecting updates available I'd immediately tried installing; this was failing. Before going to be last night I tried one more time of checking for updates and then leaving it. When I checked this morning it was asleep, but after waking it up it downloaded and installed successfully. So, not sure if it just needed some time to think about things or if Netgear fixed something in the background.
Also, I stumbled upon this link: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/MR1100-1TLAUS/MR1100-1TLAUS_23113199_NTG9x50C_12.06.02.00_00_TELSTRA_04.04.secc.spk , provided by W1lliam over in this thread: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Mobile-Routers-Hotspots-Modems/frimware-update-problem/td-p/1741156 . As my M1 is now on 12.06.08.00 I didn't get a chance to test installing this one, but it might help others if they're stuck on a really old version.
Thanks to Netgear techs if they fixed something in the background.

I'm in the same boat. Any Netgear Forum moderators able to provide some input please?
Currently stuck on 10.25.01.01 on my newly purchased second hand model but my original is on 12.06.08.00 so I know it's available somewhere.
Cheers
- icarusbonAspirantI am having exactly the same problem. Glad if Netgear can provide update method with WebUI.
Are you guys having any more luck now? Not sure if Netgear has done anything in the background, but my M1 has started reliably detecting the update as being available; unfortunately it's unable to download it. Initially it was saying I don't have enough download available (Telstra SIM that does) but since updating to the 10.25.01.01 a week or so ago it's not able to detect the account correctly. I thought I'd try with a Belong SIM and it's now just generically failing now even with Telstra SIM back in. I tried re-installing the latest firmware and resetting to factory but still having the same issue.
Netgear, is it possible to provide the latest firmware in a download link please?

- icarusbonAspirantFinally I can update the firmware on the App platform this morning too, after I plugged in the battery again.
Not sure if battery also a matter to concern.
Thanks Thanks I’ve done it, the first time!
