  • What "hub" are we talking about here?

    Is the "my nighthawk" the MR1100 or something else?

     Where do you see that?

      It’s MR1100.. I wanted to use Ethernet port to link to my linksys router so I can get my internet rolling back again in my home. I also have a hub (10 port switch) in my network.. I just keep getting the red circle on my nighthawk saying ip config issue...any idea on what I need to do to resolve ?! Thanks ..
      • If the MR1100 is working as a router, you can't easily connect it to another router. The two will fight one another to control the local network.

        You could investigate two options: put the MR1100 is "router only" mode so that the  linksys router can handle the network; turn the linksys router into an access point leaving the MR1100 in charge of the network.

        I am not familiar with this device, but the manual talks about  Pass-Through Mode. Maybe this is what you want.

        There is a manual for the MR1100 somewhere at the end of this link:

        >>> MR1100 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<

        See page 51.

        That, or disable DHCP.
