MR6100 - IP Passthrough isn't working
Hi, hope everyone is having fun today. Although I can sometimes get the MR6 to work as a regular hotspot, once I put it in IP Passthrough mode it will not even connect to a tower, it is just "searching".
Questions:
1 - How can I still connect to the device once in IP passthrough?
2 - Anything else I need to set before I put it in IP passthrough?
Note: My MR4100 hotspot has no issue whatsoever, the other difference is that it's a different SIM and different account (Residential). My 6100 was purchased under business, not sure how that could affect the cell tower connection.
Ideas?
Thanks.

I can't find anything that looks like MR6100 or even MR4100 in the Netgear support system. There are various "MR" devices. Most of them are mobile routers rather than the standard routers covered in this section.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.- DevOpsAspirant
How did you get the MR6100 into passthrough mode? I can find that setting.
As for the other reply about this being the wrong forum, this is the location the Netgear web interface drops you into when navigating the help option.

Is there a mistake in there?
"Can't find"?
What is your idea of "passthrough mode"? Like "bridge mode" it is one of those terms that means different things to different people and depends on the context.
It is not something usually associated with Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems.
You might do better to start by explaining what you are trying to achieve rather than looking for possible "solutions".
For example, are you trying to use your MR6100 with another router?

It was moved.
It would be good to known which help option?
