MR6500 Australia continual failure
Originally purchased from Telstra because FTTN was a failure.
Continually drops out, have had the unit replaced 3 times without success, not happy with this product at all.
Telstra now come up with excuses not resolutions.
Where can I get some positive assistance in Australia, anybody know?
Thanks
Tony

Makes me wonder about your coverage area. You can have the best cellular modem in the world but without decent coverage, its going to be garbage.
And FTTN tends to be pretty solid I'm surprised you went the route of switching to cellular.

Went from FTTN on recommendation from NBN tech, after 3 visits and extensive testing of lines and NBN nodes they could not work out why our service was so bad. Pre NBN there was no problem had been with the same provider (or the companies they took over) for over 15 years.
Every morning there is no internet, having dropped off over night, only surefire way to get reconnected is hard restart of modem and then it's hit and miss if it stays connected. Telstra shop and Telstra online tell us we are OK for coverage both 4 and 5 G.
Just so frustrating.

Supplying shop of Telstra have now refused to offer any support for this product and have provided a refund as compensation. Also unable to find any support from Netgear Australia via the website, nor can I find a contact number in Australia.
Am now having to research an alternative for internet connectivity.
Can only say the service from Telstra and Netgear is not what I was hoping for but at least the product has not cost me anything bar time and effort.
