MR7450

I have purchased a Netgear MR7450 mobile router, it's working as it should. However, the problem I have with it, within the Advanced option Data Usage is that it's NOT showing the number of (0 Day's left). I have included a screen shot of the problem. I have setup the selected trigger date for it to reset, for the month but it still doesn't change.

  • Additional information to above post above, I have included within the screen shot that is highlighted with a RED borders. The current firmware MR7450 that hardware is using, and my current SIM that is installed. At the moment there is NO update firmware for this device. Hopefully in the future they will provide one at some point. I'll just have to wait and see!

  • A few more hardware details listed here!

Might contact NG support and ask for help on this.

  • My guess they might be doing some internal testing of their (firmware's / software's) for each of their released hardware products. Of which will take time to get over any bugs, or issues that may be problematic for that device. This is just a suggestion, would be an idea to have the ability to backup or (roll back) on the firmware / software before committing to updating the firmware on your device. Should in case something goes wrong during the updating the process of the hardware.

  • Addition information listed here, I have both M6 Pro and M7 Pro device hardware.

Let me be clear, the only minor problem that I have with the (M7 Pro) is with the (0 Days left) issue!

  • I’m running into the same problem with my Netgear MR7450. The router itself works perfectly, but in the Advanced Data Usage section, the “0 Days Left” never appears, and the remaining days in the cycle don’t update. I’ve already set the trigger date for the monthly reset, but it still doesn’t refresh. Hopefully, someone from Netgear or another user has a solution or workaround  it’d be nice to get the data usage counter working properly again.

  • I believe they're working on the problem. We just have to be patient, just continue using the MR7450 as normal.

  • There is NO current solution or workaround for this minor issue!

What to take a note of, and also lookout for your (MR7450) device.

  • Please note, that the updated post above comparisons. Highlighted with a BLUE borders. These updates are gradual minor updates. Keep a lookout for those major updates that will cure. The reported problem!

I have added two low profile fans, underneath both of my mobile router devices for cooling purposes. Like most modern compact device, their chips get warm in the form of heat. Due to the work load it's under.

Since both of my mobile routers are in a stationary position for long periods of time. Hence I've added cooling fan's to help to regulate the "device temperature", and the "battery temperature".

  • Happy to report that the "0 Days Left" issue is now fixed!
