MU-MIMO Wifi router with local vlan support
Hi all,
I'm looking for guidance for purchasing a wifi router for my home needs. I've got a L2 network that supports vlan tagging but no interVLAN routing options.
I would benefit from using a MU-MIMO wifi network and so, I'm looking for a router one that would support multiple VLANs (one tagged, one untagged) on its gigabit ports.
What model would permit it all if one exists, of course !
Best Regards,
Nico

Who is your ISP? I suggest a broadband router from them (Comcast, Verizon FIOS, etc.) and then use dedicate wireless AP's around your house for Wifi coverage (e.g. TP-Link EAP225).
For example, I have Verizon FIOS. I use the "FIOS Quantum Gateway" (Actiontec G1100) but then use Ethernet connected wireless AP's throughout my house (I have 2, 3 max) for the best Wifi coverage.
Note that MU-MIMO is mostly BS. Only relevent with enterprise class AP's that have 4 or more antennas (some have as many as 8) and scores of wireless clients.
