Netgear AC329U SIM Card Detection problems

My Netgear AC327U doesnot detect sim card when plugged in USB slot of my laptop, it says NO SIM & a solid red light is displayed on the data card. please help...

Yep, I too have the USB detection problem after the upgrade to macOS Sierra (formerly called Mac OSX).

This time, it is with my NetGear AirCard 340U.  This mobile broadband USB device no longer works after the OS upgrade to Sierra.
