Netgear M1 SD Card Slot

Hi, thanks for the add.

I have recently purchased an M1 and a  micro sd card.

There is no card reader in the slot for the card to connect.

The manual says it should have one. My question is, are  M1 routers supplied with optional card readers or is mine missing?

    Which M1 is that? The MR1100 claims to have a built slot alongside the space for the SIM card.

     

    Look in the manual.

      Hi, there is a slot for the sd card to go in. There is just no contacts in there for the card to connect, hence my question do some M1s have storage and some do not.

        You tried a card and it didn't work?

         

        If this is a device supplied by a mobile operator, they may have had Netgear create a customised version without that feature.

         

        Then there is the geographical market. Again, the specifications may differ.
