netgear m6 - 6110- tlaus

Good evening my friends
I have a Netgear m6 mr6110 router, Australian version, but I discovered that this version does not support 5G frequencies except n78 only. Is there a way to activate the rest of the 5G frequencies such as n40 - n77 - n28? I am from Saudi Arabia and all of these frequencies work for us. Is there software to solve this problem, my friends?

  • no. these bands are enabled via firmware, and maybe hardware too. these settings are encrypted, and so far have not been reversed engineered. even if you do find a way to enable these frequencies, the built-in antennas in the device might* not optimally tx/rx on the new frequencies. the unlocked variants sells for much more and qualcomm has made sure vendors like netgear can customize their product this way and sell some configurations for less by disabling certain bands.
