Netgear Nighhawk M1 does not start anymore after frozen screen
Hello,
I purchased recently a M1 Nighthawk LTE router.
After one day usage in our garden house with power supply by Netgear USB-Charger and battery inserted, the router did not respond at all after frozen screen.
There was no response to the power button at all.
So i plugged the USB cable off and removed the battery.
After 1 minute I inserted the battery again … no resonse at all.
Next step was to plug-in the USB-cable with battery still inserted … no response at all. No charging. No power.
Next step was to remove the battery and use only the USB-cable … Response!!! Netgear logo with orange LED appeared 6 times for a few seconds. That‘s all. No response to the power button.
What went wrong?
Do you have any hints how to solve this issue?

Firmware: No clue.

there's a factory reset button underneath the battery you could try.

thanks for the hint.
Also no reaction to the reset button, which worked nicely before.
I do not understand this poor performance at all and I already regret the purchase.
This device is not really fail-safe. It feels like a post-purchase product verification…

You could try exchanging it where you bought it. (might be faster)
or go through netgear support if its new.
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.
