I misstated in my first sentence, not 4100. Should have said R7000.
That modem/gateway is actually a L2+ managed switch. Its not just a simple modem or even gateway.
L2+ switches have a lot more options for customization/management.
I know you said you contacted your ISP about it but usually the tier 1 people, aren't that familiar with L2 equipment.
I'm not that familiar with it either.
