Netgear Nighthawk M1 Download Speed Slower Than Upload On Computer But Not On Other Devices.
I have had this issue for several months. The download speeds while I am on my desktop computer (connected to my Netgear Nighthawk M1) via wifi or network cable are constantly slower than my upload speeds. On average it is like 3 Mbps down and 7-18 Mbps up with a ping averaging 1000ms. other devices using the same Netgear Nighthawk M1) run 8-15 Mbps down and 3-6 Mbps up and a ping average 100ms. Very big difference. I am up to date on all updates on both the Netgear and computer along with the other devices. What am I screwing up or what is possibly wrong?

Most customers on a cellular network are downloading so at busy times downloads may become congested.
What are the results of speed tests very early in the morning and very late at night when the network is often much less congested?
It stays roughly the same no matter what time of day, usually around 3-4MBS down
Unloaded ping of 1000 ms from a directly connected device to a router is very bad. I would recommend testing with a short cable directly connected to the router to see if this can be brought down to under 30 ms (ideally more like 15 ms).
Can testing be done with a different computer or laptop? Perhaps borrowed from someone. A mobile phone WiFi connected to the router might also give some clues.
