netgear nighthawk M2 and port forwarding
A client recently purchased this modem and i cant believe it doesnt support port forwarding. i read that a new firmware had come out but i cant find it. i also read that that firmware was buggy so maybe that is why I cant find it.
Can someone please let me know asap when this is going to be resolved, it is ridiciulous. i have had the codes put on for port forwarding to work (on the sim card that is). i have a M1 myself so thinking about swapping them over.

It does according to the manual.
If you visit the support pages:
you can feed in the model number and find all the documentation for your hardware.
thank you for your answer, but i am sorry, it does not! if you read other community posts about the same model they are also quite disgruntled that it does not. i have a M1 and it DOES, so i am going to swap it over with my clients. it is ridiculous that an older one supports and and newer one doesnt. this is only an interim solution until their nbn is connected and i can put a good grade class firewall in along with a modem.
