NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 5G Router - upgrade to M6 PRO
Hi, I have NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 5G Router. And I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to M6 PRO. Reason from my question is the fact that M6 does NOT support 5G N78 band but M6 PRO does support. Thanks.

You can always buy an M6Pro mobile hotspot like the MR6550. It is also like an upgrade, but like upgrading your phone from iPhone 15 to iPhone 16. If you are asking if you can simply "upgrade" the firmware, the answer is no. There is a reason why they sell different models under the M6 and M6Pro lines. Before committing to buying these hotspots, you need to consider what carriers you'll going to be using it with. If you buy the unlocked versions, usually it will give you the most supported bands, with the widest global carrier compatibility. What specific M6 hotspot model do you own?
