Netgear nighthawk m6 pro and hp officejet 250 printer
Hi there
ive just gotten the nighthawk m6 pro mobile router. I was trying to connect my mobile printer (hp officejet 250). However it will only connect to a guest network and not the parent network (doesn’t recognise it). Any idea how to fix this ?
Many thanks

It isn't down to your Wi-Fi network to "recognise" a printer. All that is in the hands of the printer itself.
The usual way to fix Wi-Fi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.
The router just broadcasts Wi-Fi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router that affects what the printer gets up to, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address. That can be useful but you shouldn't need it.
Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.

Your printer will only work with 2.4GHz wifi. Says so in the specs: "Wireless operations are compatible with 2.4 GHz routers only". I'm pretty sure it can only do WPA2 max as well. Most of these printers have issues with newer generation routers that have Wifi 6 or 7 and have WPA3. That's why the guest network is connecting because I'm guessing you have 2.4G and WPA2 on that network.
are you using wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode for security on the router wifi?
