Netgear nighthawk mobile hotspot
I have Nomad Fixed Wireless internet. No satellite, no cable... I have nighthawk mobile hotspot. I can’t get a strong signal throughout my house. On a good day I have 10 mbps speeds. Recently bought a netgear router to try to get the internet to reach the whole house but that seems to slow what speeds I have. I constantly have to turn off the hotspot and reboot it hoping for a stronger signal. Are there any solutions? I live rural so this is my only internet option

On the Nighthawk mobile hotspot, have you considered an external antenna? There are two TS-9 ports on the Nighthawk mobile hotspot. Being rual, the cellular signal may be weak. External antennas could be helpful to amplify the cellular signal improving the cellular performance, thus improving your connection speeds.
Also make sure to place the Nighthawk mobile hotspot near a window in the direction of the cell tower. While this may not help with the WiFi performance, it should help with the cellular performance. Using an external router connected to the Ethernet port should boost the WiFi performnce as an Ethernet/WiFi router will have stronger WiFi radios than what's included in the Nighthawk moble hotspot.
One external antenna example would be Amazon.com: Netgear 6000450 MIMO Antenna with 2 TS-9 Connectors - Retail Packaging - Black: Computers & Accessories
