netgear router wont turn on

hi - my wifi just stopped working and when i push the on button for my netgear router, it only flashes a light quickly and then nothing. no power, no lights. anyone have an idea whats going on? thanks ahead.

    Have you checked your AC adapter and see if it is bad?
