New and don’t know what to get
Hello! I’m new and need help. I live on a military base and the Internet sucks. Lag so much on my PS4 that it’s unplayable. I want to be able to play without lag. There’s no modem that I see in my room so I don’t think a router would work unless there’s wireless routers? Going to be here for months so I need something good. If someone can point me to the right direction that’ll be great or tell me what’s best for me to get.

well first you need to figure out what they have you setup with and whats going on.
You can have the best router in the world but if its connected to a slow connection, it isn't going to make anything better.
If you hardwire a computer/laptop into your ethernet port, what speeds do you get?
have you checked with your IT department that runs that building/base to see what would work? There might be certain regulations on whats allowed to connect to your network
