new wifi router it wont allow me to connect using the default sign
difficulty setting up a new wifi router it wont allow me to connect using the default sign in. I am also unable to connect to the IP address. I set up the old router with no problems for some reason this this new one wont accept anything I do. It is the exact samr router as my previous one.
any assistance would be appreciated.

many times people buy something and get a returned/open box/refurbed router. They've already been setup once. So first start with a factory reset. Many times people just push reset. You need to push and hold reset while the device is fully powered on. give it 7-10 seconds. Sometimes it takes as long as 30 seconds but the lights should change/blink.
this should get you back to factory login.
default login is admin
default password is password
try that and let me know how it goes.
