Can the Nighthawk M1 be used in Canada with a dedicated mobile sim from Bell mobility?

I'm curious, too.  Do you live in Canada or just visiting?  The USA (and other) versions can be unlocked.  So if you end up needed to use a local SIM this is a possibility as well.  Though you will likely have to manually enter the APN.

AT&T claims I should be able to roam with my MR1100 there and use my unlimited plus data plan "just like at home."  Similarly, I should be able to roam to all of Europe for $10/day.  Has anyone tried?

When I roamed to Canada last year using my cheap ZTE 917 Tmo hotspot which has limited band support, connectivity was very hit or miss.  Typically once I got away from the US border it didn't work at all.  Hopefully the combination of the MR1100 and AT&T will work better.

  • Hi,

The AT&T nighthawk M1 would work with Bell in Canada, but you must make sure your Nighthawk M1 is SIM unlocked.  The Telstra may not be good to use with Bell.
