Nighthawk M1 MyMedia support
Hello. I have tried to open MyMedia with several memory cards formatted as both NTFS and FAT32 of these brands: THN-M302R0640EA - Toshiba Exceria 64 GB microSDXC THN-M203K2560EA - Toshiba M203 256...

I found a way to utilize a 400GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC-card (SDSQUAR-400G-GN6MA) in the router by using an old TakeMS MicroSD card reader (TMS-CR-TFL1R) I located in the same drawer as mentioned before, which is supported by the inbuilt USB drivers. As long as the card is formatted correctly, it should work. Tested with NTFS.

However, it is not stable. At the moment I am not able to read the 400GB card in the card reader on the router after plugging it into an OTG adapter in my tablet, but works in a computer. I removed the previously mentioned MicroSD card from its slot inside the router and plugged the USB back into it after rebooting the firmware. After this switch it worked again.
I wish I had access to dmesg (system log files), so I could output what goes wrong, but Netgear apparently doesn't want users to tamper with advanced Linux functionality. Usability and neat UI design shall not be breached.

Hi Everyone,
Have you tried the microSDXC in another format?
The mobile router supports SD cards up to 128 GB in the following formats: FAT, FAT-16, FAT-32, NTFS, HFS, and HFS+.
Please let me know. :]

for SDXC doesn't work, only SDHD work. firmware 10.25.01.01 ;)
- MAGADEApr 17, 2018Guide
Ok sorry for the mistake. With the firmware 10.25.01.01, I confirm that SDXC and SDHC work in NTFS with MBR and GPT(GUID) format.
I have tested for fun with EXFAT but it doesn't work in exfat.
i dont have no more than 128Go to test so i don't know if it work with more than 128Go
I could be take some minutes to be readable in the web interface after insertion in the micro sdcard build-in port. If it is not readable, please wait. and for IOS, kill app and restart app.

Hi MAGADE,
It's fine to make a mistake sometimes. haha
I'm glad that you confirmed for us that it does work in the other formats! :]
Hi KarmusDK,
Please let us know if these formats work for you as well. :]

Hi.
The TakeMS reader is really some cheap **bleep**, that can easily fall apart. I also had problems with reading the card on Android, but after twisting it a little bit in the socket, I had a better strike of successes. I tried the 400GB card in another USB card reader (DeLock 91648), and it works better.
