Nighthawk M1 Restarting and IP Passthrough
I have a AT&T Nighthawk M1 that will reset itself on a regular basis during use. Should I return it for another or is this something likely to be fixed by firmware? Restarts happen on battery or ...

Hi gsmornot,
I wanted to check on you and see if your issue with your Nighthawk M1 restarting has been fixed.

Yes and no. I found that a factory reset then only changing the admin passowrd and the SSID it would or has not reset. If I change the IP address range or change any other settings it will begin the resets. I wanted it to be on 192.168.4.1 but 1.1 will do for now.
My other M1 is waiting on a firmware update so I can use IP Passthrough. If I turn it on with the current firmware I get the "external" IP but cannot pass traffic. I can only pass traffic if I let the M1 assign a regular DHCP address. On this one I only use ethernet, the WiFi is turned off. Strangly it is setup for 192.168.5.1 but has been fine. It is indoors connected to 110V. The other is in the car connected to a 2.4A lighter adapter.

I will pass on the firmware update information for future reference. Thank you again :]

Had 3 resets yesterday so still need a fix. My Unite Explore is excellent but my Nighthawk is frustrating.
